Code of Conduct For Business

If you are a business using PeLocal and availing PeLocal services, you undertake that:
  1. You are lawfully registered as per the registration norms of your state/ applicable to you, are fully compliant with regulatory and taxation laws applicable to you, and fully discharge your liabilities under law.
  2. PeLocal shall in no event be responsible or liable on account of your failure to comply with laws applicable to you and you indemnify PeLocal for any action that may be brought against it, in the event of any breach of law committed by you.
  3. You are solely and exclusively responsible and liable for all your contractual obligations with third parties. PeLocal shall in no event be responsible or liable on account of your failure to comply with any of your contractual obligations with third parties, and you indemnify PeLocal for any action that may be brought against it, in the event of any breach of your contractual obligations committed by you.
  4. The products and services offered by you are authentic and priced as per prevailing market rates applicable to products and services offered by other similar businesses.
  5. You undertake that you will be prompt in the delivery of goods and services and effective in the redress of any consumer grievance in respect of the goods and services traded by you using PeLocal.
  6. You are solely responsible and liable for the delivery of goods and services and the redress of any consumer grievance in respect of the goods and services traded by you using PeLocal.
You are solely responsible and liable for the defence and resolution of any consumer, statutory, government claims or proceedings brought against you and in no event and under no circumstances shall PeLocal incur any liability in such proceedings. In the event that PeLocal is made part of such claims or proceedings, you undertake that you shall, upon PeLocal consent take over the defence of such claims or proceedings as stated above, and reimburse PeLocal for any costs and expenses incurred in the defence of such claims and proceedings.
